Throughout the school year, the Indiana State Museum sets aside the first and third Tuesdays as Homeschool Tuesdays. Programs begin at 11:30. The cost is $3 per student for regular programs, $5 per student for educational theater programs. Call 317-232-1637 to reserve your space (you do have to reserve each individually, which means you can pick and choose the classes that will work best for your family).
*If your children are old enough to do everything on their own (can read, follow directions, etc.) you are may drop them off during the class. If you choose to stay with them, younger siblings are welcome in class as well.

Thanks for listing these! I tried to get more information last year, but never got a response, and then it fell off my radar. Is this a drop-off program, or how do they handle younger siblings?
I'm curious about the younger siblings as well. We can't just leave the younger ones at home lol....
OK, I am editing the post right now to add what I've just learned, which is that younger siblings are welcome in class if you (the parent) chooses to stay with your student. If the student is capable of doing everything within the age/grade suggestion (such as reading, listening to directions, etc.) then you may drop them off for class and come back for them at the end.
I have always dropped my daughter off and then I stay in the museum with her younger sibling. She has never had a problem in the class on her own & she started when she was 7.
