Super Thinker Thursdays at Noblesville Library: Spring Dates

The Noblesville Public Library offers great homeschool programs for children ages 5-14.

The second Thursday of every month is Super Thinker Thursday at 3:30. Here’s what’s planned for 2015:

January 8: Let’s explore the Arctic region! Join us for an experiment that will help us understand how Arctic animals stay so warm…and make your very own Arctic owl.

February 12: Volcanoes rock! Let’s learn about volcanoes and our planet’s tectonic plates. We’ll do an activity that allows us to duplicate the plates and make our very own volcanoes to erupt.

March 12: Deserts are such cool places! We’ll explore desert animals and run an experiment dealing with sand erosion. Can your team stop our “library town” from being overcome with sand?

April 9: Happy Earth Day! We will be talking about keeping our oceans clean. We will experiment on the best way to clean up oil spills and keep our ocean friends healthy.

As of right now, there is no need to register for these programs, just show up. You can view the library’s calendar of events for more programs and details. The library is located in Noblesville at One Library Plaza.
