The Wilbur Wright Birthplace and Museum is hosting their annual home school day on September 24! This event starts at  9:00 a.m. with the last registration at 3:00 p.m. (they will be open until 5:00 for those already there). With at least fifteen exhibits and hands-on activities, plan for at least two hours there, but guests are invited to stay as long as they’d like. You can see everything from butter making to weaving to a National Guard Helicopter! There will also be demonstrations on knife making, jewelry making, spinning, and basket weaving. Really, something for everyone!

The cost for this event is $2 for kids, $3 for adults, or $10 for a family (mother, father, and all children). You’ll probably want to pack a lunch as there aren’t any options for purchase close by.
