Homeschool Jamboree at Eagle Creek Park is one of the most popular homeschool events of the year, and if your kids want in, you better be ready!
Homeschool Jamboree will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. This all-day program is for ages 8-14 and the cost is $15 per child. Parents may attend with their children or drop off, it’s totally up to you and your kids. You need to bring a sack lunch and dress for being outside.
Registration will begin on Monday, October 5, at 9:00 a.m. This event will sell out. It has been known to sell out within 30 minutes of registration opening, so you really, REALLY need to get in as soon as you can. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to this site.
- If you have registered for an Indy Parks program before and have an account/ PIN, log in with it now. If you do not, you can set up a new account at this point. DO THIS BEFORE MONDAY. If you’ve had an account in the past but don’t remember it, you need to call the park at 317-327-7275 to get your information reset. DO THIS BY FRIDAY. Be sure all your kids’ information is in your account. Get this all done before Monday so you don’t have to worry about the race against the clock.
- Now that your account is ready, on Monday morning at 9:00 you will click the “Programs, Courses, Events” tab.
- Enter course code 234673 in the “barcode search” box on the left side of the screen, click the green “add” button.
- Click the “add client” button and select which child you want to register.
- Answer the prompts (what classes your child would like, if you want them to be in the same class with another student, etc.).
- If you have another child attending, go to “Add a client” and do the process again.
- Check out!
You can the topics of the classes offered on the park’s website. This will also give you the schedule for the day and how to register by phone, if you need to do that instead.
