Certain Tuesdays of the month are dedicated to homeschoolers at the Indiana State Museum. On these days, you do not need a group to take advantage of special programming and pricing. Programs begin at 11:30. The cost is $4 per student, this includes museum admission. Call 317-232-1637 to reserve your space (you do have to reserve each individually, which means you can pick and choose the classes that will work best for your family). In the past, classes have had grade recommendations, usually grades 3-8. This year no recommendations are listed.
*If your children are old enough to do everything on their own (can read, follow directions, etc.) you are may drop them off during the class. If you choose to stay with them, younger siblings are welcome in class as well.

Hi there. We are completely new to homeschooling and are embarking on our very casual but super-enthusiastic approach to Kindergarten. We are frequent museum visitors and my five year old loves all of Indy's venues. She'd need help to attend I know, but do you think it would be O.K to bring her along to a few of these sessions? Thanks for your advice - it will be greatly appreciated. Amber.
