One of the coolest educational experiences we have here in Indianapolis is the Education Matinee series at Butler University. Performed in Clowes Memorial Hall, children have the chance to experience live theater in a fun and friendly environment. While these programs are mostly attended by children in traditional school systems, all performances are also open to homeschoolers and you may purchase tickets on your own (meaning, without having to worry about getting a group together). Tickets for these programs are $8 for students and $15 for adults (there are no free chaperones for home educators) or $11 for students/ $17 for adults for The Nutcracker. All children, regardless of age, must pay admission.
