Looking for a way to teach your children art history AND give them the chance to get their hands dirty and make their own art? The Art Lab is now offering classes just for homeschoolers. The classes, divided by age (one class for 5-8, another for 9-13) will focus on art history, drawing, and painting, beginning with more contemporary artists such as Matisse and Picasso and working backwards to Renaissance masters.

The Art Lab currently has listed two sessions per age group, one Spring session beginning April 13 and one Fall session beginning August 24. Classes take place each Wednesday for eight weeks, the younger group meeting from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30, and the older group from 1:00 – 2:30. Cost is $150 per session, all supplies included.
